About the Fusion
In response to the specific requests from AT, OT and Special needs teachers from around the country, AKT developed the Fusion portable keyboard. Fusion offers the programs and features that Special Needs professionals have been asking for - for years: Text to Speech, excellent word prediction programming, a large LCD display with adjustable font size all on an easy to use, low-cost platform.
Although the Fusion offers dozens of programs and options, you'll find it incredibly easy to use. Those functions that students use frequently, like a thesaurus, font size adjustment or word prediction, will be found as "Quick Keys" along the top row of the keyboard. All other options, like cut, copy, paste, disabling spell check or adjusting the word prediction options can be found in Fusion’s easy one-key menu system.
